Grove Board Of Education Of Independent School District I002 Regular Board Meeting
The board discussed and took actions on several items including receiving reports on district financial status, superintendent updates on teacher and staff support initiatives, and mandatory staff training. Actions taken involved the formation of several committees including the Short Term Student Suspension Review, Internal Activity Review, Gifted/Talented Advisory, and Textbook committees. The board approved an agreement for officiating, adopted various district policies, and authorized contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. Additional business included establishing job descriptions for a Math Interventionist and an Athletic Office Secretary/Clerk, approving the use of funds for supplemental reading programs and handwriting curriculum, and increasing prices for extra milk and adult meals. Following an executive session, the board approved several personnel employment actions, rescinded a previous compensation approval, and authorized the extra duty list and contract negotiations with the GCTA.
