Bedminster Township Committee Regular Meeting
The committee meeting included recognition of individuals retiring from the school board, updates on recreation department activities such as basketball clinics, holiday workshops, and plans for the community garden plot registration. The DPW report detailed successful leaf pickup, storm debris clearing, road preparation for winter, pothole filling, and the installation of a new electric gate. The board of health representative noted no December meeting but acknowledged service commendations for two individuals retiring from the school board. The Land Use Board discussion covered administrative review of RFPs, the closing of the farmers market season with a holiday market, and a meeting with Pluckman property owners and business operators to discuss New Jersey EDA loan/grant opportunities and the KRE project. Further administrative updates covered the continuation of personnel manual updates, 2026 budget preparation beginning with police department meetings, a lively fleet management discussion, and a recommendation to adopt a new AI technology named Blue Voice for the police department to manage legal directives. The committee also addressed a power surge that temporarily disabled phone equipment and discussed upcoming events, including an employee holiday party and the annual reorganization meeting.
