The Board discussed various operational and personnel matters, including the presentation of the Summit Award and recognitions for the ILMEA District 1 Honors Choir. Several authorizations to bid were granted, covering lawn maintenance, pest control, stage curtain inspections, summer inspections, generator maintenance, and closed-loop water services. Additionally, the Board approved the 2026-2027 school district calendar, authorized the hiring of a new Director of Business Services, approved the dissolution of an administrative contract with a subsequent reclassification of the position to teaching, and extended the kindergarten registration discount period.
