Hutchinson County Commissioners' Court Regular Meeting
The Commissioners' Court addressed several agenda items, including the acceptance of the independent auditor's report for the fiscal year ending in 2025 and the monthly auditor's report for July 2026. The court approved a joint election agreement with Pringle-Morse ISD, set 2027 county holidays, and adjusted sheriff and constable fees. Additionally, the court authorized the issuance of a county credit card, approved the RAMP grant agreement for FY2027, an EMS equipment purchasing resolution with the City of Borger, and various interlocal fire protection agreements. Personnel changes were finalized, including the resignation of the IT Director and the appointment of a new one. The meeting included a budget workshop for FY 2026-2027, resulting in the adoption of the budget and a property tax rate increase. Various administrative matters such as library clubroom schedules, museum donations, and the sale of struck-off tax properties were also approved.
