The Hickory City Schools Strategic Plan (2024-2030) focuses on three key areas: purposeful rebranding and marketing to enhance the school's digital presence and attract families and employees; empowering academic excellence by improving educational outcomes through innovation, comprehensive support, and professional development; and innovative facilities and operations to modernize learning spaces and meet modern learning standards. The plan also emphasizes highly-qualified and effective personnel, recruiting, empowering, training, and retaining educators, and transparent and innovative budgeting to maximize resources for teaching and learning. The overall vision is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where every student thrives academically and personally, becoming well-rounded, compassionate, and socially responsible individuals.
