Additionally, an update was provided on the recommendations report workgroups, which focused on chronic disease, infectious disease, and the public health workforce.

Subcommittees for Eligibility, Governance and Data, and Formulary provided updates on their recent activities, and the committee reviewed and prioritized future agenda items including historical prescription data and program enrollment projections.

The committee discussed updates on federal grant funding, including the Public Health Infrastructure Grant and potential changes to the federal budget. The Provider Finance Department presented developments regarding the Public Health Provider - Charity Care Program, covering new cost report submissions and platform training.
