The Board of Supervisors of the County of Kauai adopted Ordinance No. 97, which repeals a subsection of Ordinance 85 pertaining to transportation control. The ordinance effectively transfers the authority for the regulation of motor vehicle common carriers and the issuance of certificates of convenience and necessity back to the Board of Supervisors, in accordance with the Session Laws of Hawaii 1949.
