Washington County Board of Supervisors Minutes

The board meeting addressed various administrative and operational matters. Public comments were received regarding a proposed Battery Energy Storage Ordinance. Consent agenda items, which included VDOT highway acceptance, supplemental appropriations, the surplus of county vehicles, and solid waste hauler permit renewals, were adopted. The board made appointments to the Industrial Development Authority and the Virginia Highlands Small Business Incubator and authorized the chairman to request a county-wide Fire and EMS study.
