This document presents the updated Principles of Good Urban Design for New York City, developed by the Department of City Planning. The plan aims to foster a more livable city through high-quality design of the built environment. It is structured around four core principles: enhancing people's daily lives, caring for a neighborhood's history, culture, and identity, embracing the city's dynamism, and confronting society's greatest challenges. These principles serve as a shared resource and guide for the public, professionals, government entities, and developers to advocate for and improve urban development.

The New York City 2026 Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP26) is a 10-year strategy designed to reduce solid waste, manage existing practices, and evaluate future options for implementation. The plan aims to decrease waste disposal and enhance reduction, recycling, and recovery through eight key programs: Waste Prevention and Reuse, Organics Diversion and Recovery, Residential Recycling, Residential Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Commercial Waste, Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste, Special Waste, and Education and Outreach. It seeks to maintain a safe and effective solid waste management system while supporting the city's climate and environmental justice goals.

This document presents a comprehensive overview of the 'Jamaica Bay Story,' focusing on the wicked problem of climate change and coastal resilience in Queens and Brooklyn, New York City. It details historical land-use changes, the impacts of extreme weather events, and future flood risk projections. The 2020 AccessibleNYC report outlines the City of New York's comprehensive strategy for achieving equal access and an inclusive, accessible response to the COVID-19 pandemic for New Yorkers with disabilities. It details ongoing initiatives, lessons learned, and future opportunities across eight key areas: Health and Well-being, Technology, Transportation, Employment, Financial Empowerment, Housing, Access, and Education. The report aims to leverage pandemic-driven changes and an equitable recovery process to create a stronger and more accessible city, with some plans extending through 2025.
