Parent Advisory Council Meeting
The council received a detailed presentation on the McKinney Vento Act regarding students experiencing homelessness, covering definitions, causes, rights to remain in school of origin, and federal service eligibility. Booster updates included various chorus performances and summer camp schedules, as well as volleyball program registrations. PTO/PTA updates highlighted recent and upcoming school events, including teacher appreciation, art shows, and transition events. The food service update provided details on the summer feeding program schedule. Federal programs updates were given regarding upcoming ESSA meetings and parent surveys for the next school year. Finally, the council conducted officer nominations for the 2026-27 term and reviewed the treasurer's report.
