St. John's College Strategic Vision And Planning 2024-2025
St. John's College is undertaking a strategic vision and planning process to assess its strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the higher education landscape. The goal is to create a long-term plan ensuring the college's viability and the preservation of its core Great Books, discussion-based academic program. The process involves internal leadership, including an executive committee and a steering committee with representation from both campuses. An external facilitator is assisting with data analysis, market research, and timeline management. The plan aims to address challenges such as sustaining a robust financial model and attracting and retaining students in a declining demographic trend. The process includes gathering feedback from various stakeholders, including students, alumni, and community partners.
