BoardLyon County School District Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
The board meeting addressed several operational and policy matters. The board discussed and approved the purchase and implementation of the Go Guardian monitoring software for specific grade levels to support online instruction. Action was taken to adopt a resolution in support of the Nevada Association of School Superintendents' legislative priorities for 2027. The board reviewed and approved the 2026-27 School Improvement Plans and the end-of-year report for the 2025-26 District Performance Plan. Furthermore, the board conducted an annual summative evaluation of the superintendent, reviewed budget transfers, and deliberated on revisions to policies regarding social networking, student attendance, and public guest and spectator civility.
