Health and Wellness Committee Meeting
The committee reviewed and modified their mission statement to emphasize educating, supporting, empowering, and facilitating access to resources for Shelter Island residents to improve their health and wellness. They also discussed new committee goals, specifically focusing on enhancing communication with community groups to improve outreach effectiveness and conducting ongoing needs assessments to identify and address community wellness gaps.
