Board Of Trustees Of The Village Of Green Island Regular Monthly Meeting
The Board of Trustees accepted a resignation from the Green Island Power Authority Board and appointed a replacement. They officially appointed a new Fire Chief, retroactive to May, and hired two new provisional firefighters. The Board reviewed and accepted various departmental reports, including Police and Fire activity reports, as well as the Treasurer's report. Financial approvals included claims for various funds and adjustments to water/sewer billing. The Board awarded an engineering services contract for the Arch Street Reconstruction and Pedestrian Improvements Project. A curb cut request on George Street was approved with specific dimensional contingencies.
