The Design Committee reviewed and approved a Design Review Permit Modification and a Tree Permit for the Saint Anna Greek Orthodox Church sanctuary building project. Additionally, the committee approved a Design Review Permit for the construction of a new administration building at the Roseville Cemetery, following a public hearing that included opposition testimony regarding noise and views. The meeting also included the election of a new Vice-Chair for the Design Committee.

The committee reviewed a request for a Design Review Permit and Tentative Parcel Map for the Recess Self Storage facility project located at 8405 Washington Blvd. The discussion focused on building design, landscaping, and the location of air conditioning units. The committee ultimately adopted the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Monitoring and Reporting Program, approved the Design Review Permit with seventy-eight conditions, and approved the Tentative Parcel Map with sixty-one conditions.

The committee held a design review meeting to discuss several permit applications. Topics included the conversion of a residential unit to a commercial office building, a planned sign permit program for Arbor View Village, the construction of a car wash facility, the establishment of an automotive service facility with a car wash, and a major expansion project for the Albertsons distribution center. The committee also received a brief update regarding the Cultural Arts Commission.

The commission reviewed and approved a conditional use permit for a telecommunications monopole installation. Additionally, the commission approved a conditional use permit for the expansion of a nightclub's patio area. A major project permit modification, tentative subdivision map, and development agreement amendment for a residential development project consisting of 81 single-family units were also reviewed and approved. Discussion topics included parking management, water usage metrics, park fees, and local water conservation efforts.

The Commission received an informational presentation regarding the Roseville Electric Utility power system's summer readiness, which included a review of the previous year's power supply events. Additionally, an informational update was provided by the Environmental Utilities department concerning the current drought status.
