The work session reviewed a new dog license form and discussed a garbage rate increase request from Econo Waste. The council also discussed the WAZE app, introduced the interim city engineer, and heard department head reports covering sewer plant issues, pothole repairs, library summer reading plans, and parks and recreation programs. The council meeting included discussions on city property sales, support for a CAPSA funding application, the appointment of a temporary justice court judge, utility rate increases, purchase orders for snow plow equipment and a vacuum truck, and budget review. Several purchase orders were discussed and acted upon.
