The commission reviewed a rezoning request for a three-acre property located at 2375 Highway 92, moving it from A to Rural Estates to facilitate a single-family residential development, which was approved. Additionally, the board considered a revised preliminary plat for 18.26 acres at the north end of North Amity Avenue and Northwest Moore Drive. The proposal, consisting of six lots, was approved with specific conditions, including deed restrictions preventing further subdivision until after 2040 and requirements for compliance with current storm water infrastructure standards.

The commission session addressed several administrative agenda items, including the initiation of an RFP for independent auditing services and the scheduling of a public hearing to amend the 2026 budget. The board approved multiple contract renewals, covering lease management software, School Resource Officer agreements with the Platte County R3 School District, live scan fingerprint device maintenance, and body shop services. Additional approvals included a multi-year VMware subscription license, an appointment to the Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled, the formal withdrawal from the Clay Platte Ray Mental Health Board, and a promissory note to provide a loan to the Platte County Mental Health Board.

The Board of Zoning Adjustment discussed two variance requests. The first request involved a variance to the sideyard setback requirement for a room addition at a residential property, which was approved. The second request concerned a variance to the rear yard setback requirement for the construction of an outbuilding, involving discussions on property topography, septic system constraints, and compliance with HOA covenants.

The Commission addressed various business action items including the removal of tabled resolutions from the agenda, approval of a request for qualified proposals for sheriff's office body shop services, and a multi-year contract with the Missouri Department of Transportation for work zone overtime. Executive appointments were made to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Additionally, the Commission approved the senior tax credit program list, a rezoning request, and a series of stormwater grants. Finally, the Commission awarded a bid for the Graden Road Bridge replacement project.

The Planning and Zoning Commission discussed three main agenda items. The first involved a request to rezone 2.03 acres north of 2860 Highway P from agricultural to single-family estate to facilitate the construction of a single-family dwelling. The second agenda item focused on the rezoning of 5 acres at 22770 Highway 273 to allow for a minor subdivision to preserve a historic site, with the intent of transferring the property to a historical society. The third agenda item concerned a rezoning request for approximately 80 acres located at 13350 Ding Lane and a preliminary plat approval for the Dalling Farms major subdivision, which includes six lots for single-family construction and a private open space tract.
