Board of Public Works and Safety and Common Council Meeting
The council and the board reviewed and approved a resolution establishing official hours for Halloween trick-or-treating. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to deliberating on a proposed ordinance regarding the parking of motor vehicles in residential lawn areas. Discussion focused on the need for a more thorough legal review and practical drafting, with concerns raised about enforcement, storm water management, and the obstruction of curb stops. The council decided to maintain the item on the agenda while forming a committee to revise the ordinance for future consideration.
