Henry County Board of Commissioners Board of Commissioners Meeting
The board meeting included several recognitions and administrative actions. Proclamations were issued to honor Mayor Pro Tem Rufus Stewart upon his retirement and the Sai Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority for twenty years of community service. The board recognized various county employees for their years of service and received presentations regarding Transportation SPLOST projects in Commission District 2 and a year-end review of the overall SPLOST program. Additionally, the board approved appointments to the Building and Facilities Authority and the Veterans Advisory Board. The consent agenda included resolutions for roof repairs at multiple fire stations, low voltage data cabling at the Judicial Annex, the purchase of a mobile LED screen for Parks and Recreation, janitorial services, easement agreements, and concession operations.
