The Board of Zoning Appeals scheduled a public hearing to review two new business items. The first item concerns a variance request for the placement of a residential shed within a rear utility easement at 1606 Milington Way, which has faced engineering concerns regarding potential impacts on stormwater detention and nearby utility infrastructure. The second item concerns a variance request for the replacement of six nonconforming wall and gas station canopy signs at 1501 W. 5th Street, specifically to address the maximum cumulative number of signs allowed per property under current zoning regulations.
