BoardOcean Academy Charter School Board of Education Regular Meeting
The board discussed and took action on several items, including the acceptance of the 2026-27 school calendar, approval of high school field trips, and the adoption of the summer school program. A resolution was passed to approve the Teacher and School Leader Evaluation systems, the Board Self-Assessment, and the District Mentoring Plan. Additionally, the board approved the appointment of a new teacher, renewed contracts with the external auditor and legal advisors, and approved the monthly financial reports and bill list. Updates were also provided regarding fire marshal issues, upcoming school events, NJSLA testing, and the Parent Academy.
