This document outlines Hi-Mount School's vision, values, improvement focus, and long-term goals. The vision aims to ensure all students meet or exceed Wisconsin Common Core State Standards, positively impacting their lives and communities through culturally responsive approaches and family participation. Core values emphasize respect, responsibility, a safe environment, and kindness. Key improvement areas include science-based early literacy instruction, focusing on the five essential reading components, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to foster positive student-teacher relationships and engagement. Long-term goals include a 5% annual increase in math and English language arts proficiency, a 10% annual decrease in developing scores, maintaining a 95% attendance rate, and a 10% reduction in behavior referrals for Black/African American students by the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
