The Infrastructure Committee meeting includes discussions on the airport department's budget, operations, and projects, along with an update on the second-floor remodel project. The committee discussed and approved a request for the Larry Main Trail Dedication. The Land and Water Conservation Department (LWCD) monthly report was submitted, highlighting the 50th Year Anniversary of the Tri-County Land Judging. The committee approved the 2024 Burnett County Wildlife Damage Abatement and Claims Program Crop Prices. Nominations were made to the Land and Water Conservation Board (LWCB). A public hearing was held for the Animal Waste Ordinance - Text Amendment, followed by its approval. Updates were given on the Forest and Parks Department, including timber sale administration and the completion of new campsites. The Ice Age Trail cold cache request was approved. Reports were submitted for the UW-Extension Department and Burnett County Tourism Coalition (BCTC), including discussions on 4H programs, short term rental properties, and the Highway 35 Rehab Project. A future public hearing was scheduled to review groundwater inventory and well testing results.
