BoardSpringfield Housing Authority Regular Meeting
The Board approved new income limits for federal-aided public housing and Section 8 programs and accepted the Section 8 Management Assessment (SEMAP) certification for the fiscal year. They also approved the FYE2026 EOHLC Year End Certifications for state programs. Furthermore, the Board awarded an indefinite quantity contract for on-call mechanical contracting services and authorized significant change orders for the Gentile Apartments elevator modernization project and fire alarm system upgrades at multiple sites. The Executive Director provided an update on local housing affordability discussions and labor standards.
