Kneehill County Council Council Highlights
The Council received an infrastructure update, including progress on road maintenance and gravel programs. Approval was granted for a gravel request related to the development of an access road and for the new safety policy. The council accepted the proposed 2027 budget timelines and authorized requests for meetings with provincial ministers at the upcoming Rural Municipalities of Alberta conference. Additionally, the council terminated the Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework with Stettler County, appointed a representative to the Community Futures Network of Alberta, tabled the Council Correspondence Policy, and directed a review of the Bergen Pasture Lease following a closed session discussion.
