The Community Schools of Frankfurt's strategic direction is guided by three core pillars: Literacy, Community, and Post-Secondary Expectations. The plan aims to improve academic achievement, particularly in literacy, by setting ambitious passing goals for state assessments and implementing rigorous instructional practices. It also focuses on strengthening the school community by attracting and retaining certified staff, increasing student enrollment, and ensuring safe and orderly school environments through positive behavior support systems. Furthermore, the plan prepares students for future success by offering programs like the Indiana College Corp and various Career and Technical Education pathways, ensuring readiness for college, employment, or military service.

The strategic plan for the Community Schools of Frankfort (CSF) focuses on ensuring academic excellence for every student, creating a safe environment, and utilizing effective instructional practices. It aims to increase parent involvement and community partnerships, while also addressing the needs of students and staff through connections, programming, and curriculum development. CSF emphasizes student and staff safety, effective classroom instruction, and well-maintained facilities, supported by sound fiscal management and open communication with stakeholders. The plan values equal opportunities, equitable access to curriculum, and the integration of technology to enhance learning beyond the classroom.
