The Board meeting proceedings included a review of the envelopes for the six precincts and the CAP for the dual primary election of June 17, 2025. All provisional ballots were accepted upon reconvening on June 23, 2025. Subsequently, the Board certified the results of the election to the State Board of Elections, local Political Parties, and the Clerk of the Court after signing abstracts. The summary of the election results provided vote totals for the Republican Primary for House of Delegates 62nd District and the Democratic Primary for Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General.

The agenda includes a bond consideration for the County of Greene, focusing on a resolution related to refunding a lease revenue bond from Series 2022. Also on the agenda is the Rural Entrepreneurship Initiative, featuring a GoVirginia Grant application, with a presentation from Rebecca Haydock, CEO of Venture Central. The meeting will also cover the acceptance of minutes, a review of financials, reports from officers and committees, public comments, old and new business, and scheduling the next meeting.

The Greene County Comprehensive Plan serves as a guiding document to manage traffic, accommodate growth, and provide vital services, aiming to enhance the quality of life for residents. It focuses on preserving the county's rural character and natural beauty while guiding growth and development. Key strategic areas include conserving farmland and natural resources, planning for diverse housing and transportation needs, supporting economic development and tourism, creating employment opportunities, and providing quality education, recreational areas, and essential services like broadband, law enforcement, and solid waste management.

The council reviewed financial reports and discussed the Virginia Clay Festival, noting positive artist feedback and consistent attendance. Member vacancies were addressed, with plans to recruit new members and potentially appoint a liaison from the Board of Supervisors. Additionally, the council evaluated the allocation of transient occupancy tax carryover funds for long-term investments, scheduled a special budget meeting, explored options for advertising council vacancies, and discussed insights gained from a visit to the Carver Center in Culpeper.
