The Integrated Stormwater Management Plan for the Tsawwassen Area aims to maintain and enhance watershed health and provide effective stormwater management while accommodating future development. Its key objectives include composing a future vision for the watershed, identifying and upgrading deficient drainage infrastructure, protecting watercourses, aquatic life, and habitat corridors, preventing pollution, and improving water quality. The plan focuses on implementing infrastructure upgrades, environmental enhancement projects, and best management practices (BMPs) to manage stormwater, enhance ecological health, and ensure resilient drainage infrastructure over the long term.

This Integrated Stormwater Management Plan for the Boundary/Shaw Creek watershed, a joint initiative by the Corporation of Delta and the City of Surrey, aims to address key issues such as flooding, erosion, debris accumulation, fish passage barriers, and poor water quality. The plan outlines strategies including detention facility assessment, culvert upgrades, flooding assessment and improvements, erosion control, ravine stability assessment, debris interception, fish habitat and passage improvements, water quality monitoring, maintenance of base and low flows for irrigation, and mitigation of hydrologic impacts from future development.

The Integrated Stormwater Management Plan for the North Delta Ravines area is a comprehensive framework developed by the Corporation of Delta to improve the watershed system and mitigate the impacts of development. Its strategic focus areas include addressing existing key issues such as inadequate hydraulic structures, erosion, ravine instabilities, and limited fish habitat through systematic upgrades and stabilization projects. The plan also prioritizes enhancing fish habitat and passage, implementing water quality monitoring and improvements, utilizing stormwater source controls, and mitigating future development impacts to preserve aquatic and riparian habitats, minimize flood risk, and ensure sustainable watershed health.

The Delta Cycling Master Plan outlines a vision and strategies to increase bicycle use and create a cycling culture within the City of Delta. The plan is structured around three core pillars: A Connected Network, A Convenient Way to Move, and A Culture of Cycling. It aims to develop an integrated network of comfortable off-street pathways and on-street bicycle facilities, ensuring safe, healthy, and equitable mobility choices for all ages and abilities, thereby contributing to a livable, complete, green, and prosperous community over a 20-year timeframe.

The City of Delta's Housing Action Plan outlines eight strategies to address the community's housing needs and improve affordability for residents from 2021 to 2026. Key strategic areas include promoting priority housing types through incentives, increasing land availability for affordable housing, introducing tenant relocation and rental stock protection policies, piloting pre-zoning, creating opportunities for gentle density, increasing accessible units, strengthening partnerships and advocacy, and piloting inclusionary zoning. The plan aims to provide a variety of housing options and ensure everyone can find a place to live in Delta.
