The committee celebrated its tenth meeting milestone and reported a successful 5-year administrative review with no violations. Key discussions included the review of ARS 15-242.01 regarding banned school ingredients and subsequent updates to the Local Wellness Policy to ensure compliance. Additionally, the committee reviewed the Triennial Assessment and evaluated progress on nutritional goals, including the availability of calorie and sodium content for menu items, website updates, and the implementation of SMART snacks for school events.
