Board of Education Regular Meeting
The Board of Education meeting included several key topics such as presentations from student liaisons, staff appreciation, and student awards. The Board reviewed physical moving service bids and approved the appointment of Parent Advisory Committee representatives. Procurement and financial approvals included an E-rate firewall upgrade, outdoor furniture and choral risers for Sheiko Elementary, STEAM/CTE furniture for the high school, and a new broadcasting TriCaster. Additionally, the Board authorized a second Schools of Choice application window for the STEAM program and approved policy updates as presented in the NEOLA report. Finally, the Board approved various personnel actions and business office financial transactions.
