The commission reviewed and voted on several residential and commercial subdivision projects, including Smoke Tree Hills, Deer Run K-8, Murder Rock Cabana, Myer Land, Snadon Minor Subdivision, Butler Office Building, and Missouri Sky Estates. Additionally, the commission discussed concept proposals for future developments, such as Air Park South, Del Mar Condominiums, Lakeshore Condominiums, Headwaters Boat and RV Storage, Integrity Hills Chapel, Moments By Pat Photography, and Cerretti Construction Shop. Old business regarding height amendments and code violation notices was also addressed.

The commission reviewed and evaluated responses for the Voter Registration Printing and Mailing Services contract. Following a review of pricing and specifications, one respondent was disqualified for failing to meet requirements, and the contract was awarded to the Edward J. Rice Company, Inc.

The commission discussed bid negotiations for the Annex Building and decided to rework specifications. A motion was passed to table the Jail Annex bid until after the holidays. The meeting also included a discussion on employee vacation carry-over policies and a request from an employee, which was tabled for further consideration. Additionally, the Animal Control Supervisor provided a departmental update concerning building maintenance and scheduling, and the commission conducted an executive session regarding personnel or building maintenance issues.

The Planning Commission conducted a regular meeting to address several project applications. Key actions included final votes on bookkeeping business operations, the expansion of the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar, a variance request for the Villa Gis project, final approval for a Farmer's Market project, and conditions for the Northview Estates plat approval. The commission also discussed concepts for Epps Trash Service and a restaurant relocation for Trong Van Tran, and granted a permit extension for Acacia Bend II and III.

The commission reviewed several final votes and concept applications. Decisions were made regarding a small restaurant request, a boat trailer storage facility, construction of additional storage units, a multi-use residential/commercial complex, and the installation of a communications tower. Additionally, a request for a well and storage facility for a utility company was approved. A vote on a large-scale multi-use entertainment complex was tabled pending a noise study. Several concept applications for future projects were discussed, including an office/shop building, a maintenance/retail/warehouse park, a gun shop, property splitting for commercial use, a residential platting project, apartments for individuals with developmental disabilities, a distillery, and additional cell tower proposals. The commission also addressed ongoing discussions regarding townhome requests, property zoning/lot lines, and an amendment to county height regulations.
