The vision statement of Central Kitsap School District is to create a vibrant and inclusive learning community. The goal is to ensure that all students are able to discover their passions and achieve their dreams through comprehensive and supportive educational opportunities.

The strategic plan for Central Kitsap School District focuses on preparing students to be college and career-ready, ensuring safe and welcoming learning environments, promoting academic success and development for all students, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders through transparent communication. Key performance indicators include attendance, suspensions, and achievement in reading and math, with an emphasis on early intervention and support to improve graduation rates.

The School Board held a study session to review the strategic plan, focusing on the vision, mission, and strategic plan focus areas. The Board agreed to publish the mission, vision, goals, and sub-goals, with a publication plan to be reviewed at the next meeting. The Board also attended a reception honoring the Transportation Department. The agenda included human resources matters, field trips, donations, new and recurring contracts, grants, facilities and construction contracts, and vouchers. The board discussed graduation requirements, biology end-of-course updates, and a supplemental levy resolution. Updates were provided on capital projects, and a presentation was given for educational specifications for Jackson Park and Silverdale Elementary Schools.
