Additionally, the board acted on the declaration of surplus property, approved agreements to facilitate restaurant development, authorized zoning text amendments regarding subsequent applications, and secured a grant agreement for a downtown mural project.

The board took final action to approve Ordinances establishing Special Service Areas (SSA 111 and SSA 112) for curb and gutter installation in specific neighborhoods. Multiple Resolutions were approved, including one-year contract extensions for Architectural and Engineering Services with Cordogan Clark & Associates, Williams Architects, and Wold Architects & Engineers. A Resolution was approved to extend the contract with Best Technology Systems, Inc. for gun range maintenance. Other key actions included approving payment for the Northeastern Illinois Regional Crime Laboratory Membership Assessment, a three-year contract for Building Automation Systems maintenance with Trane U.S. Inc., continued purchase of cellular services from Verizon Wireless, and a contract for replacement networking hardware for the Glenview Public Safety Dispatch center South. The Board also authorized the use of Motor Fuel Tax Funds for the Elm Street Improvement Project, Phase I, and the 2026 Road Resurfacing and MARS Programs. Contract awards were approved for Phase I and Phase 2 of the Elm-Hickory Lane Improvement Project with PirTano Construction. Additionally, a Resolution was approved concerning an amended Intergovernmental Agreement with Glenbrook High School District 225 and the purchase of extrication equipment. The board also approved vouchers and preliminarily approved an Ordinance to amend the Glenview Municipal Code regarding liquor licenses and an Ordinance to declare village equipment as surplus property. Resolutions related to Cook County 7(b) Real Estate Tax Incentives for redevelopment at 2801 Patriot Boulevard and preliminary approvals for a conference center at 2100 Sanders Road and a light industrial development at 2211-2305 Sanders Road were also processed.
