Manitoba First Nations Police Service Strategic Plan 2023-2026
This strategic plan serves as a roadmap for the Manitoba First Nations Police Service to enhance community safety and wellbeing through a trauma-informed approach. Its main strategic pillars are focused on reducing drug and alcohol-related offenses, violent crime, and gang-related criminal occurrences, alongside increasing cultural competency and linguistic capacity within the service. The intended outcome is to create safe communities that are well-protected and served with respect and integrity, upholding professionalism and honoring customs and traditions.
