The committee reviewed a financial update regarding General Fund revenue and Fund Equity Changes for the 2019 fiscal year. Representatives from Clifton Larson Allen presented a preliminary audit for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. The committee also discussed information items including the cessation of tax abatements by Northfork services, a proposal for a commemorative plaque and renaming of the County Board Chambers, and the status of potential solar and wind farm developments in the county.

The committee reviewed and approved several budget amendments, including adjustments for the Circuit Clerk's court documentation storage, the Drug Court Fee Fund, the Mental Health fund, the North Fork District, Technology Services, and the Liability Fund. Key ARPA-related requests were discussed, including funding for the Land Bank's home demolition and improvement projects, a trail infrastructure grant for the Village of Catlin, and a new aerial flyover for property tax mapping. Additionally, the committee approved budget submissions for the Treasurer and Auditor, as well as a resolution for a financial contribution to the Child Advocacy Center. Financial updates regarding fund balances were provided, and the committee engaged in discussion regarding midyear salary raises and FOIA requests for expense reports.

The committee adopted the meeting agenda and reviewed financial expenses from the previous month. Key business included the awarding of an excavator bid. Additionally, updates were provided regarding various Highway Department projects, specifically fence installation, bridge construction and repair status in Blount, Butler, Potomac, and Georgetown townships, and planning for upcoming road work.

The Commission discussed several administrative items, including the review of the budget performance report and the approval of payables. The Commissioners determined that officer positions would remain unchanged for the upcoming year. Additionally, updates were provided regarding the transition to a new election system and a requested change in the future meeting schedule due to a holiday.

The committee reviewed expenses for February 2024, confirming they were within budget. A resolution for the resurfacing of Hungry Hollow Road (Improvement Section 24-00229-00-RS) was approved. Additionally, the committee discussed salt procurement, issues regarding CRIS and Danville Mass Transit, and upcoming work on Higginsville Road by the Army Corps of Engineers.
