The meeting focused on the consideration and approval of the 2015 Legislative Agenda, with modifications to exclude certain action plans. The Board also entered into an executive session to discuss personnel employment matters and formally adopted two resolutions, identified as 2014-15: 514 and 2014-15: 515.

This Racial Equity Action Plan outlines strategies for the Rochester City School District (RCSD) to become a thoroughly anti-racist institution, ensuring equitable opportunities for all. It focuses on three key areas: human capital, relationship building, and professional learning. The plan aims to increase the representation and retention of staff of color, improve equitable hiring practices, foster positive relationships by addressing racist attitudes and providing anti-racism education for all staff, and develop a common language and comprehensive professional learning framework for racial equity. Key objectives include reviewing the Code of Conduct, educating all employees on individual, institutional, and structural racism, and strengthening mentorship programs for racial equity.
