Board Of Education Special Meeting
The Board of Education met to address various personnel and contractual matters. The Board approved county supplement assignments as presented. Permission was granted to close an itinerant aide position with autism mentor and CPI certification shared between two schools, and to post three new extracurricular event supervisor positions for the fall, winter, and spring terms. The Board also approved the employment of several personnel, including an early childhood classroom assistant teacher aide, an itinerant elementary school counselor/social worker, a restricted substitute teacher, and substitute aides and cooks. Finally, the Board approved contracts with Ruddle Farm Service for athletic practice facilities, Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College for additional classes, the Foster Grandparent Program for volunteer services, and Home Base Inc. for counseling and behavioral services.
