Upon returning to the regular session, the board observed the pledge of allegiance and adopted the agenda. Significant time was dedicated to monthly recognitions, including honoring four schools with state-level recognition through the Ohio Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, and acknowledging the organizing team for the Frosty's Jamberee event, which served over 650 students and family members. The board also recognized its own members for demonstrating thoughtful leadership in scaling new heights. Further discussion involved the proposed district calendar for the 2027-2028 school year, which must incorporate contractual requirements for professional development and teacher planning days while adhering to minimum instructional hour mandates.
