The Planning Commission discussed two rezoning requests. The first involved a property on Brashier Lane, where the commission approved the request to move forward with a public hearing. The developer presented a revised plan for 158 single-family homes with larger lot sizes and reduced density compared to the previous proposal. Community members expressed concerns regarding the impact on traffic congestion, school capacity, emergency service response times, and the loss of environmental and natural space. The developer addressed questions regarding sewer availability, and the council noted that a final vote on the ordinance is scheduled for the first meeting in May.
