The Board addressed several key topics including the adoption of the 2026-2027 LCAP and budget. The Board also approved the Single Plan for Student Achievement across multiple schools, high school course outlines, summer campus cleaning projects, furniture procurement for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, and various facilities and equipment leases. Furthermore, the Board approved job descriptions and salary schedules and discussed student discipline cases and administrative evaluations during a closed session.

The board received various student representative reports, board member updates, and a superintendent's report highlighting recent school events and initiatives. A presentation was provided regarding the second-grade reading initiative. Public communication focused on concerns regarding the district's transition to a full inclusion model for special education. Action items included the ratification of warrants, approval of a developer fee justification study, authorization of surplus library book disposals, approval of a multi-year educational participation contract, adoption of summer curriculum, ratification of school safety plans, and approval of the Declaration of Need for Fully Qualified Educators.
