The committee received an update from the Riley Co. of Louisiana, Inc. regarding the new C&D Cell B project. Additionally, the committee authorized the engagement of the Riley Co. of Louisiana, Inc. for services pertaining to landfill permit renewal and construction oversight for the new C&D Cell B.

The agenda for the meeting included committee reports from Public Works, Solid Waste & Recycling, Personnel/Benefits, and Economic Development & Planning. New business items involved receiving the Ambulance Service Report, authorizing the Administrator to negotiate and purchase property located at 201 S. Vienna Street, adopting a resolution to execute an Entity-State Agreement with La. DOTD for a bridge replacement on Spring Creek Road, adopting a resolution of support for the Mt. Zion Water System's emergency funding application, and adopting an ordinance setting forth speed limits on Water Tank Road. Budget reports were presented by the Treasurer. Travel authorizations were discussed, including diesel technician training for the Highway Department and the NACO Conference.
