The council meeting addressed the approval of a new Class C retail alcohol license for Elorado Mexican Restaurant and Grill. A representative from the police department provided an overview of municipal alcohol licensing and presented evidence recommending the disapproval of the license, citing issues such as delinquent water bills, failed compliance checks, sales to underage individuals, and repeated incidents of the establishment being found unlocked after hours.
