City Council of Iola Regular Meeting
The City Council meeting addressed the appointment of a new Ward Two Council Member and discussed the tabled pickleball court resurfacing project. The Council received presentations regarding assessed valuations from the County Appraiser and reviewed 2027 budget requests for various city departments, including the Public Library, Police, Street, Parks and Cemetery, Fire/EMS, and Code Enforcement. Additionally, the Council held executive sessions to discuss trade secrets and received various operational updates from Council members and administrators.
