The purpose of the meeting is to discuss any business that may come before the Authority, during which formal action may be taken.

The board meeting agenda includes the formal termination of all participation under the State Health Benefits Program, including the Prescription Drug Plan, and the acceptance of the 2024 Annual Audit Report.

The Special Board Meeting was scheduled to take action on the AWARD OF BID #2026-01 for the ABLETT VILLAGE AND ALFRED CRAMER SITE A located in the City of Camden. Formal action was expected to be taken on all matters brought before the Authority during the meeting.

The primary purpose of this special Board meeting is to take action regarding the cancellation of the award of Bid #2025-02 for the ABLETT VILLAGE AND ALFRED CRAMER SITE A, and to approve the re-issuance of that bid.

The meeting commenced with the presentation of a Proclamation honoring Commissioner Betteridge upon her final meeting after three years of dedicated service, particularly highlighting her work concerning health issues like homelessness and addiction. Following the proclamation, the minutes of the previous meeting were accepted, and the Comptroller's Report was adopted. A public hearing portion focused on discussion of resolutions to be acted upon, including support for Resolution No. 83 endorsing the New Jersey State Immigrant Trust Act (ITA) S672/A 4987. The Commissioners subsequently adopted Resolutions 1 through 90 in blocks, addressing numerous topics such as contract awards for engineering services, trail improvements, road work, shared service agreements, grant applications, personnel actions, budget insertions, various departmental agreements (Health and Human Services, Corrections, One Stop), and the expansion of the Camden County Board of Taxation. Resolution 84 was pulled. The session concluded with final comments from the Commissioners, further recognizing Commissioner Betteridge's service, and noting charitable contributions made by county employees before adjourning.
