The council conducted interviews and discussed annual board and committee appointments, reviewed upcoming calendar items, and considered a first and final reading of an ordinance to incorporate voter-approved charter amendments. A public hearing was held regarding a Special Use Permit for a tattoo service. Furthermore, resolutions were approved for matching funds under the Tarrant County Home Investment Partnership Program, support for an Opportunity Zone Activation application, and support for a councilmember's candidacy as President-Elect of the Texas Municipal League. Additionally, a flag was presented in memory of a former councilmember and a proclamation was made recognizing Amateur Radio Week.

The council discussed various projects and contracts, including recreation center improvements, citywide carpet and chair cleaning services, and a site plan revision for a drone food delivery service. The session also covered the authorization to publish a notice for issuing certificate of obligation bonds for city infrastructure and fire apparatus, the reappointment of municipal court judges, and maintenance and equipment purchases for the Hurst Conference Center, specifically regarding refinishing and repairing doors and trim, as well as the acquisition of new staging equipment.
