Summit County Council Minutes
The council addressed several items, including a review of the Master Planned Development for the Junction Commons redevelopment project, covering density and traffic updates. The council approved 2026 early Board of Equalization recommendations and ratified the 2026 Certified Tax Rates. Further agenda items included appointing members to the Summit County Heritage and Landmark Commission, receiving an annual update from the Summit County Housing Authority regarding their strategic plan, and discussing the renaming of Tech Center Drive. Additionally, the council approved a restaurant tax grant distribution for the North Summit Recreation Special Service District, waived county and transportation impact fees for a new Recycle Utah facility, and acted on the Ure Ranch Conservation Easements.
