Overland Park Planning Commission Meeting
The Commission reviewed and approved the 2026-2027 Comprehensive Plan annual updates, which included minor revisions to the Future Development Character Framework Map and changes to responsibility assignments for action items in the mobility chapter. Additionally, the Commission discussed and continued a rezoning request for the I-435 Mixed-Use Redevelopment at the Brookridge Country Club to allow for further engineering resolution. Finally, the Commission approved a revised preliminary development plan for a new Chick-Fil-A restaurant at the Oak Park Mall, noting design improvements to screening and circulation.
