Additionally, the board will discuss and potentially approve the purchase of cafeteria tables and the sale of a bus. The meeting will also cover personnel matters, including new hires, resignations, reassignments, and discipline, in both closed and open sessions, and possible action on filling a vacant board position.

The Pre-Kindergarten Family Engagement Plan for Chireno ISD aims to facilitate family support, establish a network of community resources, increase family participation in decision-making, equip families with tools to enhance learning, develop staff skills in evidence-based practices, and evaluate family engagement efforts for continuous improvement. Key components include PK Round-Up, PK Orientation, a Parent, Teacher, Student Organization, field trips, a PK Facebook page, and various campus/district/student-led activities.
