Handgun Roster Board Minutes
The Handgun Roster Board reviewed numerous petitions regarding the addition or approval of various handgun models and calibers. Many petitions were approved unanimously, while others involving specific criteria such as concealability were subject to 4-2 votes, resulting in de facto denials due to dissenting votes from board members who identified the firearms as short-barreled rifles. The board also discussed announcements regarding the publication of approved firearms in the Maryland Register and their subsequent inclusion on the Maryland State Police website.
