MRC d'Abitibi Intervention Framework 2025-2028
This Intervention Framework for the Vitality of the Territory for MRC d'Abitibi outlines a strategic approach based on the Fonds régions et ruralité (FRR) programs, specifically Volet 2 – Développement territorial and Volet 3 – Vitalisation. It articulates a vision, mission, and values, detailing budgetary allocations for initiatives spanning from April 2025 to March 2028. The framework focuses on six key intervention priorities: strengthening territorial attractiveness, planning and regulating land use, fostering territorial vitalization, enriching tourist, cultural, and heritage offerings, supporting an innovative and diversified economy, and promoting resilient territorial development with improved environmental management. The overall objective is to sustain the region's vitality through targeted support and investments, in collaboration with the ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation (MAMH).
